Lacrosse Season

Here is what our coach had to say about our season this year:

We played in some tough conditions this year, but managed to set the following UST records:

> Most wins in a regular season and overall, 9 and 11, respectively.
> Highest winning percentages, regular season and overall, .818 and .846 respectively.
> First playoff win ever (2-1 in playoffs; 0-1 in 3 previous years)
> 3-0 in overtime games.

And, I believe, most importantly:
> Undefeated, 11-0, vs Div III teams

Every player on the roster is an important part of these accomplishments.

and the only teams we lost to were the University of MN (Div. 1) and UM-Duluth (Div. 2). We ended up taking 3rd in the tournament w/ those two schools as first and second...it was an amazing season!

catching up from Kauai

A couple days ago we went to do some sightseeing after a morning of surfing. Let me add that I am not a good surfer, but each vacation I get better. I stand up every once in a while, but it is not an easy sport. We headed off to Queens bath, a pool carved into the lava shell, but we couldnt swim becase the surf was too high. I did get a ton of photos and videos of the turtles in there. So cool. I really wanted to see some turtles and I got my fix. We went scuba diving the next two days. Sorry not any real photos. But we did see turtles and I did get certified. I needed to do 4 open water dives and now I am certified. We did two shore dives and the photo above of the sunset was taken after the first 2 dives on our way to dinner.

In Memoriam

I ran into the police officer that "arrested" me at Mifflin Days last spring, so I figured it warranted a trip down memory lane. We made plans for the same pose a couple of weeks from now. By the way, he answers to Officer Favra.

Second day in Kauai, yesterday I arrived in the afternoon and was so tired to really do anything. Today we hiked on the beach, laid in the sun, and then surfed for a couple hours. Now I am drinking mai tai and sending you some photos!

TC's Spring Break

A little summin' summin' from my spring break 'trip' to the Twin Cities. In case you're all wondering what song it is that I'm butchering, I don't remember. However, credible sources tell me it was 'You Shook Me All Night Long" by ACDC.

Lacrosse

I played in my first lacrosse game today! It was exciting and fun despite all the cold! Plus we won all three games today (although I can't say I had much to do with that) which was awesome! What is up with everyone else?
