Bonfire on the Mississippi

And last night, May 21st, we celebrated with a bonfire on the river at Jim and Ann's house. A barge went by, that is the picture with the bright light. Also a beaver couple were out in the water. I think they were mad we were on their beach because one kept slapping its tail in the water. Heard an owl, a raccoon dropped by, and we took photos of the moon rising over the rivers. Fantastic!

Happy Birthday to me.

Dad and I went for a beautiful bike ride the morning of my birthday. We rode along the river on a bike path, the flowers were all over, the weather perfect, except for a bit of a head wind on the way back. Doesn't Dad look great in his new helmet, bike shorts and gloves?

Like father, like son

I snapped this photo without either Dad or Andrew knowing. Looking out over the city of Madison, shading from the sun with the exact hand to head placement!

The next day in Madison-herding chickens

Monday after graduation we took a tour of Madison. We had a great breakfast at Marigold. Great food. Then took a tour of the capitol building. Which has the 4th largest dome in the world! Walked State street, had brats for lunch, again great food. Did a bit of shopping before we heading up North to Wausau. Just in time to start celebrating my birthday with a Culvers ice cream cake. YUM!

More Graduation Pics

Graduation day, Sunday May 18th, was a beautiful sunny day and was supposed to be rainy and cold. Lucky for us it wasn't.
